The Journey Garden, designed and created by Garden designer Hannah Genders and Matthew Lane Sanderson.
The journey garden takes visitors through a landscape inspired by St Michael’s hospice and personal stories of life, love and loss.
The Angel Tree representing St Michael’s Hospice, as a place where people can find sanctuary during difficult times. The stem leans back and the canopy reaches over like arms of an angel.
The sculptural work and the garden were created for the RHS Malvern Show and was awarded a silver gilt. The garden and the sculptures then were moved to their permanent home at St Michael’s Hospice in Bartestree, Hereford.
